8% Cashback on MYR spend

Wef 1st June Maybank has launched a promo giving 8% cashback on all MYR spends on their Maybank Family and Friends card. 

Note that the 8% and the usual category 8% do not stack. Meaning all MYR spending that do not fall into the 5 selected categories or above the $312.50 cap will then get the 8% discount. This means after fees of 3.25% we can get up to 4.75% cashback.

So for existing cardholders, this is the card to use for your Malaysia trips. If we want to squeeze more out of the card, we can pair it with amaze and use amaze card on the selected categories instead.
